New Art Sneak Peek + How hiking acknowledges patience

Hi there,

This week’s piece, ‘The Black Bear,’ was inspired by an incredible and a tiny bit of a scary moment on a recent hike when I spotted a black bear wandering through the trees. That encounter reminded me how essential it is to find strength in stillness—a lesson I love weaving into my art.

Here’s a first look at my latest pyrography piece. This black bear, peacefully exploring its natural habitat, represents resilience and quiet strength, bringing the wild into your home.

While it’s not available just yet, it will be part of my upcoming wildlife collection, which will include eight unique pieces.

Stay tuned for more details!

What Hiking Taught Me About Creativity
Whenever I’m hiking, there’s a sense of discovery. The trail doesn’t always reveal itself immediately, as some sections are boring while are parts are thrilling and exciting. Hiking teaches patience. Creating art, like hiking, unfolds one step at a time, and this mindset helped me create ‘Black Bear.
