August Smoky Wood Studio Notes
Hi there Reader
What August Looked Like in the Studio
August felt like it burned fast and bright, a mix of new art, spooky whimsy, and fresh lessons in the Academy. Between hiking misty trails and working late nights with my wood burner, here’s what came to life this month:
- 52 Weeks of Fire: We explored Urban Chic, Garden Bloom, and Wildlife Portraits, each one pushing different textures and techniques.
- Whimsical Halloween Collection: The Pumpkin Mice, Candy Corn Critters, and Scarecrow Sentinel made their debut. (I couldn’t stop grinning while sketching those tiny mice!)
- In the Shop: Comfort Mushrooms from Volume 1 nearly sold out (just a handful remain), and I added new wildlife portraits, including my favorite raccoon piece.
For Art Lovers
If you missed it, these August originals and limited editions are still available:
- 🖤 Pumpkin Mice pyrography — See it here
- 🍂 Raccoon Portrait — now live in the shop — View it here
- 🌲 Comfort Mushrooms — Grab the last ones here
For Learners
I released a new option – the Solo Studio. This is perfect for those, who just want patterns and not so much community.
