We hope that you appreciate the handcrafted creations and should you find any imperfections, please note that is due to the handmade process and materials. Each of our products is unique and one-of-a-kind which can lead to slight variations from the product pictures listed on our website.
CONDITIONS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
SALE
If you purchase the product on sale for more than 20% off, the order is not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@smokywoodstudios.com. Please email us your name, order number, and reason for return. If your return is accepted, we will send you more information on how to ship the returned product back to us. Please note, we are a very small business and are not responsible for paying for the shipping costs of returning the bag. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We do not offer refunds for shipping fees, so if you originally selected expedited shipping for your order, you will only be refunded the cost of the item(s) you return. Please note that all returns must be shipped in a box, so we recommend holding on to your original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
The non-returnable items are:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
DAMAGES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You can also email us at hello@smokywoodstudios.com.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
