Why use cedar wood?

I wanted to use something different and had a few pieces of the same size and shape and thought they would make a great canvas for the nautical series I wanted to create.

Maintain a stable environment with moderate humidity levels for your painting. Extreme fluctuations in humidity can cause it to expand and contract, leading to cracks or warping. And if you’re not putting it on display for a period of time, store your painting in a clean, dry area away from direct sunlight and humidity. Lay it flat or store it vertically with support to prevent bending or warping of the canvas.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaning solvents on your acrylic painting, as they can damage the paint surface. If necessary, use a mild detergent diluted in water to gently clean any stains or spots.
