Description

This Wood Burned Hanging Sign is a perfect decorative accessory for a  Witch’s Home. The design has first been drawn freehand and then burned using a Pyrography pen, painted with oil pencils and/or acrylic paints, and finished with a couple of coats of clear varnish.

Some bark may be loose or loose from the edges due to them being natural bark-edged slices.

How to take care of your Wood Burned Hanging Sign:

When moving or handling your pyrography art piece, always hold it by the edges or base to avoid smudging or damaging the burned design.

Pyrography artwork is protected with UV Outdoor polyurethane but still susceptible to damage from moisture.  And dust your pyrography art piece regularly using a soft, dry brush or a microfiber cloth. Gently brush away any dust or debris that may have accumulated on the surface to prevent it from settling into the burned design.

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading and discoloration of the wood and the burned design. Display your pyrography artwork in a location away from direct sunlight. You can add a fresh coat of polyurethane to help preserve the wood and the burned design.

When not on display, store your pyrography art piece in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Lay it flat or store it vertically with support to prevent warping or bending of the wood. And be sure to periodically inspect your pyrography artwork for any signs of damage, such as cracking, chipping, or lifting of the burned design. Address any issues promptly to prevent further deterioration.
